ExxonMobil opens application period for the 2016 Internship Program

Starting this Monday (7/20), ExxonMobil is accepting applications for its annual internship program. Aside from offering young talent daily contact with other countries and cultures, the program is the most effective entryway for those wishing to work for the company.

Those interested in signing up for the internship program should expect to graduate between December 2016 and December 2017 and enroll via the site www.exxonmobil.com.br by August 31. Tests will be taken online as applications are submitted. During the month of September, group interviews will be conducted, with individual interviews planned for October. The selection results will come out during November and December, and new interns will begin their activities in January or July of 2016.

The amount of the stipend is R$1,400.00 for university-level education with a daily workload of four hours, actually verified, and R$1,100.00 for technical level, with a workload of six hours per day. Aside from the stipend, interns for both categories will receive a transportation voucher worth R$200.00. The participant will be monitored by a supervisor throughout the whole internship period.

Openings are available for university and technical-level students who will enter the program in the cities of Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, and Paulínia (SP). Enrollment is also open to individuals with any type of physical or mental disability.

For the Shared Services Center of Curitiba, where the highest number of opportunities is concentrated, enrollment is open to students of Administration, Accounting Sciences, Economy, Math, Logistics, Engineering and Technology: Computing, Electrical, Electronics, Electrotechnical, Mechatronics, Production, Chemical, Systems Analysis, Systems and Telecommunications, Information Management and IT.

For Rio de Janeiro, the openings are for candidates studying Administration, Economy Accounting Sciences, Engineering: Environmental, Oil and Production, Social Communication - Journalism and Public Relations.

For the Paulínia unit, there will be internship openings in Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering, as well as Technical Courses - Chemical Technician, Workplace Safety Technician and Mechanical Technician.

According to ExxonMobil’s Human Resources manager in Brazil, Samantha Leite Franco, the program is always being updated to attract more and more new talent. “The internship is a unique opportunity for professional growth in which the young person can interact with different cultures and with people working in many of the world’s countries where ExxonMobil has a presence,” she says.
