Pazflor

Production and handling

Pazflor came onstream in August 2011 and is expected to reach a peak production of approximately 220KBD. Pazflor has estimated proven and probable reserves of 590 million barrels.

The two subsea production system consists of 49 wells and three subsea separators connected to six pumps.

Sonangol is the Block 17 titleholder. Total is the operator of Pazflor with 40% interest. Its partners are StatoilHydro (23.33%), ExxonMobil (20%) and BP (16.67%). Nominal parcel sizes are 950KB with a two-day lifting period. 

Load Port Data

Pazflor FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading vessel) is located approximately 150 km offshore Angola in water depths of 600-1200 meters. It is 325 meters long, 61 meters wide and 32 meters high.

The Pazflor FPSO is designed to handle 220KBD of crude oil and approximately 1.9 MB of storage capacity.

Approaches to the FPSO can only be made during the hours of daylight however export tankers may unmoor from the terminal at any time.
