Production and handling
Terengganu condensate is produced offshore in the South China Sea, East of Peninsular Malaysia. Production is currently approximately 30kbd. ExxonMobil holds about 20% equity. EMEPMI is the Operator.
Load Port Data
The crude is loaded at Terengganu Crude Oil Terminal, Kerteh, Malaysia. (4° 29' N, 103° 24'E)
- Maximum DWT: 250,000 KT (140,000 KT during November to March monsoon)
- Maximum Draft: 20.4 metres
- Maximum loading rate: 40,000 bbl/hr
Typical characteristics:
Terengganu condensate is about 80% naphtha.
