Production and handling
Troll Blend consists of crude from Fram and Troll, approximately 11% Fram and 89% Troll.
Fram and Troll are fields located in the northern part of the North Sea. Norsk Hydro operates Fram and Statoil is the Operator of Troll. Fram is linked to Troll C by oil and gas pipelines, which will transport the well stream to the platform for processing. The oil is transported in pipelines from Troll C to Mongstad, an onshore terminal near Bergen in western Norway.
Fram production started in October 2003 and reached an estimated peak of 60kbd in January 2004. ExxonMobil's share of production is 25%. Troll has been in production since 1995 and current production is 270kbd. ExxonMobil's share of Troll Blend is 2.5%, about 6kbd.
